When I was a little kid a water tower burst and flooded a friend's house while I was visited. And thus was born my intense fear of water towers. The years passed and the fear turned to a romantic, nostalgic feeling for small town life. This particular water tower is a vivid brick red and resides on the property on Edgefield here in Portland, Oregon. I have hand-painted them with acrylics and ink on dense board with grommets, jump rings and brass hooks!
